If you primarily use your Dyson stick on hard floors, you will need your roller brush replaced yearly. If used predominantly on carpets, the brushes may be usable for about two years. This is because they wear faster when the brushes spin on a harder surface.
So if your Dyson Slim, DC61 or DC62 is not picking up the dust of the floor or pet hair of the carpet, your solution will likely be a new roller brush bar.
