On an inclined surface, it self-levels on inclines within four degrees. If the incline exceeds four degrees, the tool will flash, prompting you to adjust the tool's location to ensure an accurate result. Two modes, lock and unlock, allow you to line up the three lines of sight for perfect positioning.
